Miriam’s passion is driving innovation and building industry partnerships. She helped create the voice for the $9.7 billion eBay fashion business as VP Global Head of Fashion. She has held a number of senior executive roles in large global firms such as TJX and acted as consultant to the CEO at NET-A-PORTER prior to acquisition.
Miriam works with startups leveraging technology to innovate new propositions. She is co-founder of Aequip, a technology startup building a behavioural analytics platform that measures the most valuable drivers of organisational health and creates reliable improvements through behavioural nudges to manage change.
Miriam has been featured in the WSJ, IBD, Fast Company, New York Times, WWD, FT, TW, and Drapers and has been a keynote speaker at conferences in the US, UK, Germany, France, Italy and Spain. She’s taught classes on digital innovation at Boston College Carroll School of Management, The Royal College of Art and Imperial College London.

Sean went straight from university into a career in retail and spent most of the 25 years since progressing through a number of roles at footwear retailer schuh.
He is a seasoned ecommerce and CX leader – experienced in driving both the strategy and day to day performance of volume online commerce, innovating customer digital experience and enabling highly specialised teams to achieve their potential.
Since departing schuh in Autumn 2020, he has been involved in advisory work, taken time out to study and has spent a period guest lecturing at the University of Edinburgh.
In the Summer of 2021 he is joining B2B scale up Candle Shack as their first Ecommerce Director, where he will be “doing his bit” for their exciting plans for growth.

Simon joined Selfridges the luxury department store in 2012. During his time Selfridges has been voted Worlds Best Department store 4 times (IGDS).
In 2018 he was appointed CEO with responsibility for 5000 team members, a turnover of £2billion and strategic and creative direction. In 2019 he was voted in the top 10 most influential retail leaders in the UK (Drapers Record). Prior to that he was Customer Director responsible for developing the Digital business, Supply Chain and Marketing for Selfridges. Between 2009 – 12 he was Digital Director for Debenhams. Previously Simon held a number of senior buying roles and was SVP General Merchandise Manager for TK Maxx (part of TJX Group) between 2003 and 2009. Since 2020 Simon decided to adopt a plural career and now currently holds a number of Advisor and Non Executive roles working across the global retail industry.
